Museum on Main’s Udderly Divine Bovine Event

Here’s an election you won’t want to miss! Come vote for what you deem are the two ‘best dressed’ – one small, one large – from a herd of 28 cows. These two-dimensional, wooden beauties ranging in size from petite, approximately 2-feet by 4-feet, to grander, 4-feet by 6-feet, await your vote on August 6, 6-9 p.m., during First Wednesdays in downtown Pleasanton. This beauty contest will be held in front of the Museum on Main, 603 Main Street,  Simply drop your ballots for your two favorites into milk cartons.

Purchased and decorated by individuals, businesses and not-for-profits, these two-dimensional cows are all part and parcel of the upcoming Udderly Divine Bovine Event slated October 4th at the Pleasanton Senior Center, 5353 Sunol Blvd.  Some cows will also be part of the Running of the Cows during the Pleasanton Downtown Association Art & Heritage Celebration on September 20. More details later.

You may even bid, and hopefully win, at the auctioning of the cows during the Udderly Divine Bovine Event featuring music by Tommy & the 4Speeds and cuisine tastings from local restaurants. Reservations, $65 per person, are available at the Museum on Main, 603 Main Street.  http://www.museumonmain.org
